Imaginary Thoughts of a Horse
VivRo | Noemi Rochelle Fleming
What does a horse dream of?
Fleming answers in color. Bold streaks of hot pink and coral slash across a hazy sage and gold ground — restless, electric, untamed — while the horse itself emerges from the lower left in deep navy, black, and ivory, its face turned gently inward as if mid-thought. There is stillness in the animal and wildness in the air around it, and that tension is exactly the point.
The brushwork is loose and fearless. The mane dissolves into shadow. The muzzle catches a soft, tender light — blush pink against all that expressive chaos — grounding the portrait in something unmistakably gentle. This is not a horse at full gallop. This is a horse thinking. Feeling. Somewhere far away behind those quiet eyes.
The abstract background reads like the interior of a mind — streaks of magenta cutting through warm amber and muted teal, layered and overlapping, the visual language of imagination itself. It surrounds the horse not as scenery, but as thought made visible.
Romantic. Powerful. Quietly extraordinary.
